Lower Mill Estate

Lower Mill Estate is a hidden gem in the Cotswolds,  The lakeside nature reserve is comprised of nine lakes, two rivers and miles of walking trails, playing home to a diverse range of native wildlife, including otters, beavers and an incredible range of water birds.

The estate provides a range of facilites and as a guest at Harrier Lodge you will have full use of these.

Spa

Complimentary use of the ArtSpa at Lower Mill Estate, heated indoor & outdoor pool,  plus an unheated eco-pool (available summer months), gym, sauna & steam rooms. Children are also welcome. There is also a range of treatments available at an extra cost. 

Ballihoo Restuarant and Bar

Ballihoo offers a comprehensive breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and takeaway menu, using the finest and freshest local produce in a modern eco-friendly environment.

There is also a takeaway pizza shack where you will see chefs preparing and spinning the pizzas, before cooking them in the rustic wood burning oven.

Ballihoo Zero-Waste Shop

Built from sustainable cross-laminated timber, the shop offers food grown and foraged on the estate, alongside items from local producers.

Children's Playground and softplay

Children’s play area including trampoline, slide and swings (small charge for soft play area only).

Tennis and MUGA Court

Free use of the Tennis and MUGA Court, offering the perfect spot for a quick knock-about or an entertaining game of five-a-side football with family and friends.

Watersports

Bring your own or hire Watersports equipment. Paddleboarding, yoga by the lake and many more activites are also on offer at the ActivityHub.

Please note: Somerford Lagoon is closed from 1st October - 31st March (to protect the wildlife) and no boats are allowed on the lake during this time.

Family Walk

Cycling

Hire adult and child bikes and take an easy ride around the stunning nature reserve or follow the local cycling routes if you want to go long distance.

Fishing

Fishing is available all year round at Mill Lake with lots of Carp, Tench and Bream to cast a line to.

Please note: a valid rod license must be carried at all times when fishing (this is available from the post office). 

Miss Mouse Trail

Collect a map from the Miss Mouse meeting hut and follow the trail to locate each character from the Miss Mouse series. Head out into the wild to find the hidden treasure. Open April - October.
